Zusammenfassung:eng: The basis of this work is the unequal income- and living-situation of women and men in Austria, which comes to light in the vertical and horizontal gender-segregation on the labour market: Female employment is concentrated in particular branches of the economy as well as in certain hierarchical positions which are usually worse paid, with a greater risk of unemployment and very few chances of promotion. The methodical basis of this work consists on the one hand, using theoretical means of explaining the stability of gender-segregation on the labour-market and utilizing it for political taxation-concepts and their realization in political practice. On the other hand, the theoretically-formulated taxation-concept confronted with existing and practiced state- intervention politics with the labour-market- and education-politics in different European countries (BRD, Sweden including Austria), are compared and examined on their effectiveness. Following this, consequences and perspectives are formulated, which can be interpreted as a further development for active politics in Austria. Borders of national- taxation measures appear mainly where the dimensions in the hierarchical structure of gender-representation, and the various related power- positions of men and women are phased out, and the unequal sexual representation in the working and living-world is recognized as an individual female-problem, instead of a structural problem, requiring a basic restructuring of the whole of society.
