Assuming that major losses in the union membership had a serious impact on money contributions and voter delivering for the unions the dissertation tried to reveal the changes the relationship of these two organizations had to undergo and found that unions did loose influence but that they showed an impressing ability of coping with the new situation and that they adopted new strategies in taking influence. |
