Zusammenfassung:eng: This analysis of Austrian Radio and it's programm between 1924 and 1933 is a chronology of nine years of radio, based on the complete stock of word program transmitted by the Ravag. The results are 11.258 broadcasts as a part of communication history in Austria, splitted in the time of broadcasting (beginning and ending), the duration, the themes, authors, speakers, listeners (female, male). The director of the Ravag was one of the chairmen of the Union Internationale de Radiophonie and Ravag did many of premieres in international program - transmitted Austrian culture (e.g. music) an radio-experiments to many European and American radio- stations (February 1926) and did live reports from the league of Nations in Geneve by a sound-film created in Austria. I analysed the political, cultural and historical background behind the beginning of mass communication in Austria. Austrian radio could have been democratic (a commitee of representatives controlled the program) but only for a few years. Then the influence of non democratic parties exceeded. As radio is daily done, the change of cultural and political behaviour in radio- program is obvious and can be described by historians. This dissertation discusses also the writing of history, broadcasting history and the European evolution of radio-programs especially the program exchange between Austria and Germany - the 'Anschluss' (annexation) was done long before 1938.
